Last Week, when Zelda Wii U was shown for the first time, the internet exploded. Fans and journalists couldn’t stop talking about the gorgeous visuals, and now the Producer of the game, Eiji Aonuma, has confirmed that all the footage shown at the Nintendo Digital Event was all in-game.

In the video shown at the Nintendo Digital Event, Aonuma, snaps his fingers as the world of Zelda comes to life behind him on a screen. He then went on to reveal during the video that the new Zelda will be open-world, and that all of the mountains and hills in the background can be explored.

Aonuma went on the new Miiverse, to confirm the news with all Nintendo fans who had questioned if the trailer had been pre-rendered or was in-game.

Many people from the media kept asking me if the footage from the new Zelda game for Wii U is just a promotional movie, but that really is actual gameplay on Wii U. Also, I wasn’t kidding about how you will be able to reach the mountains that appear in the distance if you should choose to!
