Yakuza Kiwami

Sega has put down any hopes for a Yakuza Kiwami port making its way to Xbox One in the near future.

In response to a fan’s Twitter question, Sega Europe revealed the lack of plans to port the remake:

The news is certainly disheartening, especially considering the Yakuza series’s presence on Xbox is non-existent.

Sega announced that Yakuza Kiwami would be coming to PC players February 19 just late last month. Along with access to the port, the upgraded port offers 4K resolutions and an uncapped framerate. Catch up with the PC announcement trailer down below.

Whether or not the remake will ever come to Microsoft platforms is up in the air. PlayStation 4 owners already have access to the title, so be sure to check out OnlySP’s review of the game here.
