Inspired by Metal Gear Rising? Sure seems like it!

Yesterday, the world was told that Kenji Infaune was creating a new zombie game. Today, we have a few more bits of info thanks to a new teaser trailer.

Yaiba is the name and slashing zombies with a sword is the game. The teaser shows a few a few still images of concept art along with some actual gameplay footage near the end.

From what we can gather, the game will have a colorful cel-shaded aesthetic that resembles a graphic novel. It will also feature a sort of cyborg-ninja protagonist with white hair and a powerful katana. It’s good to see that Raiden is still able to find work after Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
