Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.

According to Nintendo’s Mini Direct, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will release on May 29, 2020, for the Switch. Nintendo also announced two separate collector’s edition for the UK and US.

The US will receive the Definitive Works Set’, which will include a hardcover artbook with a slipcase. This edition is available on Best Buy for USD $80.

The UK will receive the ‘Definitive Collector’s Set’. This edition includes the hardcover artbook, as well as a digital and physical vinyl of the game’s soundtrack. A steelbook case for the Switch game cartridge is also included. No price has been revealed for this version.

Definitive Edition will also have a special epilogue chapter called ‘Future Connected’, where main protagonists Shulk and Melia will explore a new area called Bionis’ Shoulder.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition was announced during the Nintendo Direct in September 2019.
