Many things are unknown in the world of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The upcoming title’s box art, however, is not one of them.

Online retailer Newegg has just put out 3 new images for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, one of them being the game’s box art and the other two being screenshots. I don’t know about you, but I quite fancy the art. It perfectly illustrates the theme of teamwork and also maintains a mysterious “secret operations” feel due to the characters being shrouded in darkness. The shades of blue compliment each other quite nicely as well. The team members seem to be in what I can only describe as a headquarters combines with a church. have they started praying to alien gods?!

The other two screenshots are of base-building and some action-oriented gameplay in a gas station, respectively. It’ll be interesting to see just how awesome you can make your base look. Check out the the three images below.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is set to invade retailers on October 9th, riding UFO shaped like PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 cases.
