While most retailers are still preparing for the big holiday shopping season, today two hot 8th generation console bundle deals have showed up on NewEgg’s eBay store front. These console deals are bundled together with hot Fall 2014 video game releases for just a tad more than you’d for the console alone.

Xbox One Console + COD Advanced Warfare + Xbox Live Gold 1yr. — $379.99 (list $500)

You might have read that this week Microsoft dropped the price on a Standard Xbox One Console from $400 to $350. This price drop will last through the remainer of 2014, and this bundle offer capitalizes on the price drop and then some. You’ll pay $30 more than you can get a standard edition console alone for, but you’ll also get a 1 year Xbox LIVE Gold Membership and a copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – a $120 value. Buying this bundle saves you about $90 vs. buying each item separately.

PlayStation 4 White Destiny Bundle — $409 (list $450)

The PlayStation 4 White console first made its appearance with the release of Destiny on September 9th of this year. The original console bundle w/ Destiny was $449.99 which gave the buyer a unique colored console and $10 savings over buying the console and game separately. Now the savings has increased with today’s price drop. At $409 you get the White console and Destiny game for about $51 cheaper than buying the console and game separately.

NewEgg’s bundle offers both carry an expiration date of Monday, November 10th at 8am Pacific but it’s likely they’ll sell out sooner. In the case of the PlayStation 4 offer, over 350 units have been sold with a known quantity of 1,000 available at this price. It’s unknown how many Xbox One console bundles are available with the discount price tag, but the number is probably again around 1,000.

Both of these bundles are about the values you’d expect to find on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. With discounts emerging this early in the holiday 2014 season, it’s a good sign of discounts to come in the video game world.
