Bugbear Entertainment’s Wreckfest has been out on PC since summer of last year, but fans will be excited to hear that it finally arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month.

A new trailer from THQ Nordic put on display the exhilarating, car-flipping action of Wreckfest before revealing a console release date of August 27, 2019.

Wreckfest offers a unique take on demolition derby, combining impressive graphics, stunning physics, and some of the most beautiful and chaotic crashes that PC and console fans have seen to date.

Bugbear’s racing title comes with no rules, encouraging players to create theatrical and gorgeous car-crashing carnage to their heart’s content.

Unlike most racers, Wreckfest comes at players with banged-up vehicles that often do not run like the most well-crafted machines. Vehicles can be upgraded and customized, and the PC version includes a career mode with wacky challenge vehicles.

PC players can pick up Wreckfest on Steam now, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be able to purchase it starting on August 27.
