According to a blogger with access to Wolfenstein: The New Order, upon starting the game up on either the PS4 or Xbox One, user will be greeted with a massive day one patch. The patch weighs in at 5 GB on the PS4 version of the game and a whopping 7.3 GB on the Xbox One.

The install size for the game on consoles is also quite massive at 47 GBs with PC being around 50 GB.

So, it looks like you’ll be waiting a few hours to get the game running unless you’re one of the lucky few with Google Fiber. But, in the digital age I suppose this is to be expected, unfortunately. Looks like that 500 GB was a definite understatement for the next-gen consoles. Maybe about 500 TB would do?
