The new Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem content patch adds a four-hour campaign ending with an “epic, multi-phased boss fight.”
Wolcen Studios new content patch ‘Wolcen’s Act I: Children of Heimlock‘ introduces a new story mode. During the campaign, players will encounter 12 new boss fights, ending with fighting the final act boss across three phases. Players can also expect new cutscenes, dialogue, dynamic scenes, and even an English voiceover within the campaign.
In addition to the story mode, the update will also include new skills modifiers, adding more choices to the Passive Skill Tree, new AI creatures, and much more. Wolcen Studios has developed a good reputation for large updates, especially after the studio recently released a new roadmap and a litany of revamps.
However, Wolcen Studios acknowledged some bugs require more work but confirmed that nothing should prevent players from completing the game with their characters. The developer commented on the issues on the game’s kickstarter page.
“We’re aware of these issues and we will fix them in the upcoming hotfixes.”
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem’s new story mode and full patch goes live today and is free to anyone who owns the game.
