Some new details have been posted online for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the game’s official forums, detailing some minor new details in the game that you may or may not have heard of before.
Forum’s user, Shavod, compiled a bunch of details regarding The Witcher 3 and posted them on the forums in a bullet format for easy reading. While not all of the details are new, we’ll provide you with some of the more interesting details we learned.
According to the post, the game will have some dynamic weather in the form of periodic snowfall, storms, different phases of day/night cycles and cloudiness as well as a morning mist in some areas.
The game’s AI is also apparently a big step up from the previous entries in The Witcher franchise. Your enemies will be constantly moving around you, looking to cut off all avenues of escape. Taking out the leader of a group will cause the other enemies to be disorganized in their assault and open up attack options. The details even note that some enemies may use themselves as bait to allow their companions to corner Geralt. Apparently the game can be quite difficult, even on the easiest difficulty setting.
Weapons in the game will degrade overtime as you use them, which will require Geralt to visit craftsmen regularly to repair them. This includes the two main swords that Geralt always carries. There’s also a large amount of different weapons in the game according to the details, and to use some of the better weapons in the game, you will need to be a certain level.
