This morning at PAX East 2015, CD Projekt RED released a new video of gameplay from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The video is narrated by their senior level designer, Peter Gelencser and is just over seven minutes longing. It showcase both a town and the countryside and Geralt of Rivia investigates the disappearance of a local group sent out to guide a caravan. Check out the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PAX East 2015 Gameplay video below, directly from the official Witcher Youtube channel.
The video’s intensity increases quickly as Geralt quickly finds that a Royal Wyvern is the source of the trouble on his latest quest and he begins his preparation for battle with the epic beast. If the developers are to be believed, most of the demo videos we’ve seen have not yet been fully maxing out the graphical capabilities on demonstration PCs. They want to save the full settings “as a surprise” for those that purchase the game, and are capable of running it on the highest settings.
Regardless the visual look pretty stunning and we get a full taste of Geralt’s combat: rolling, dodging, swordplay and his magical powers known as signs. This is just one of many quests that Geralt can uncover in his treks through the massive open world. This is one of our Most Anticipated Games of 2015 list.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now set for release May 19, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows
