Witcher 3

Rumors concerning a potential Switch port for CD Projekt Red’s critical darling, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, have returned.

A job posting from GOG Galaxy, a company owned by CD Projekt Red, is what sparked today’s rumors. The post specifically calls for software engineer who will “connect players across GOG.com, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.” The post, originally found on CD Projekt Red’s website, has since been removed.

YouTuber Doctre81 discovered the post and shared the news via video. Check out the video down below.

Though a port seems unlikely for an uncountable number of reasons, picking out what else the developer could be working on for Switch is difficult. After all, thanks to Doom, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and even Final Fantasy XV, there is plenty of proof regarding what the Switch can handle.

OnlySP reported on a Witcher 3 for Switch rumor back in December. Until any official announcement is made, make sure to take all of this information with a grain of salt. CD Projekt Red has yet to comment on the matter, so be sure to stick with OnlySP on FacebookTwitter, and YouTube for more updates.

Thanks Doctre81 for the find.

For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
