After a lengthy hiatus, Winterfall’s official social media account was updated to reassure fans about ongoing development.

The account had remained inactive since September 2018. The new update, however, thanks fans for their patience and continued support and promises that the project is still in healthy development.

According to the post, the reason behind the sudden absence was due to an excessive workload which put any social media activity on the backburner.

Hopefully, this new update will lead to further information from the developer on the game’s ongoing progress. Winterfall’s regular blog updates also ended in May 2018.

Despite the lack of news, Winterfall is shaping up to be a captivating third-person fantasy RPG. The game mixes an open-world action experience with resource management and town building. The project also boasts a unique and in-depth character creator including skills, personality traits, and ambitions.

The game also boasts a fully-functioning ecosystem which is adapted to each of the world’s various locations and can add some “unpredictability” to gameplay.

Winterfall is still advertised for an early 2019 release on PC. Whether this release window will be met remains to be seen. For more, be sure to follow OnlySP on FacebookTwitter, and YouTube. You can also join the discussion in our community Discord server.
