The only thing holding me back from conducting an interview with Supermassive Games, the developers of the 2013 Playstation 3-exclusive Playstation Move-controlled Until Dawn, is questions. So, all you SPs out there: What do you want to know about this indie-developed teen horror game?

Ask anything you want in the comments below, and I’ll ask the best among them to Supermassive.

Also, a quick update on myself: I almost have everything I need to record my gameplay on my Playstation 3 except one thing. What do I lack? Simple: time. Yes, organic chemistry is ruling my life right now in college, so don’t expect a lot of videos once I do find the time to set up my Roxio Game Capture. Once I have the time, what you can expect is many hours of Assassin’s Creed 3 (probably mostly single-player), which I will post here once I upload them on Youtube.

Until then, be sure to sound off in the comments below with your questions for Until Dawn.

  1. What is the overall premise of the game?

What separates Until Dawn from other games in the genre besides the Move support? What will you do to avoid making the Move support feel less like a gimmick and more like a legitimate game mechanic?

That&#039s all I can think of for now. There&#039s not a lot of information out about Until Dawn in order to form good questions on it.

  3. Why did the studio choose to use the Move? How does it contribute to the gameplay?
What were your inspirations (movies?, other games?) when creating Until Dawn?
Who exactly is this game addressed to? (for fans of…)

Interesting game. I love horror games and movies.
Also good luck with organic chemistry, took it last term, and boy was it hard!

  7. Why did you decide to take the route of teen/slasher horror in the story and premise of the game, as opposed to a style that is more in tune with the typical gaming experience? Why do you think so many Move games have felt undercooked and what makes you believe that you&#039ll be able to make a convincing effort with the motion controls? What games have you drawn inspiration from in the development of the gameplay mechanics and ideas of Until Dawn? What do you consider the single most important detail of the game as it stands right now?
