We Happy Few

Compulsion Games has revealed that its long-awaited adventure game We Happy Few has entered beta testing, with a final release date to be announced relatively soon.

The new announcement come as part of the latest update on the game’s official website. The post explains that publisher Gearbox this week began a playtest of the full game, which required that the current build be feature complete. To date, explains the update, no major bugs have been located, and the testers have provided a wealth of information that will help to better balance the gameplay, tutorial systems, and mechanics.

Furthermore, the development team is currently in the process of preparing a certification build for Sony and Microsoft ahead of the final submission for consoles, and expects to have the final PC specifications locked down in the coming weeks.

We Happy Few was previously scheduled for release on April 13, but the developers opted to push the release date back to allow more time for polishing. While no release date is set, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
