Developer Neocore Games has just announced their latest project as Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, a new RPG that the developer describes as a, “persistent sandbox action-RPG”.

The game will have a single player campaign that throws players “into a grim and secret war among the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition.” Neocore is promising that Martyr will include a massive amount of gameplay as they provide, “years of constant entertainment, gradual development and a continuous flow of content that enriches the action-RPG gameplay.”

In a statement provided to IGN, producer Zoltán Pozsonyi said, “There’s a reason why we chose the world of Warhammer 40,000: it’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an action RPG. Working with Games Workshop, we’re doing our best to bring a high quality game to the community. We’re huge fans as well, so we care deeply about this game.”

Based on Neocore’s previous experience with RPGs, you should probably expect a top-down action RPG, but the developers have not confirmed that yet. Stay tuned to OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for further details on WH 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr.
