Chucklefish has announced the all-new and free ‘Double Trouble’ DLC for its Advanced Wars-inspired strategy title, Wargroove.
‘Double Trouble’ will bring a co-op story campaign, new Outlaw Commanders, additional units, editing tools, and more.
Although Wargroove‘s newest campaign mode is designed to be played cooperatively, it can be played solo. The campaign follows the story of Errol, Orla, and the recently announced Wulfar as they face off against Vesper.
Along with this story campaign and its four new characters, ‘Double Trouble’ will bring the following:
- Two new units: Thieves and Riflemen
- New Arcade missions
- Competitive online Quick Play maps
- Public and private multiplayer lobbies
- A new Volcano map theme
- Updates to the Editor
- New Outlaw music (from Phonetic Hero)
Although this new DLC has not been given a release date, Chucklefish has stated in its latest development blog post that it is “currently in the final testing phase.”
Chucklefish will also be streaming a preview of Wargroove‘s upcoming DLC tomorrow on its Twitch channel, although no specific time has been given.
