Wailing Heights, the off-beat adventure game from Outsider Games, has now hit Steam Greenlight eager for your votes.

We first reported on Wailing Heights in our weekly Indie Roundup here, but if you want a quick recap, Wailing Heights follows the story of Frances Finklestein, once the manager of the international hit band the Deadbeats. After the last member of the band dies, Finklestein received a call to host a gig in a town the he, and very few others have heard of: Wailing Heights. Thus begins a bizarre, haunted, body-hopping adventure as Finklestein must explore this strange town filled with all manner of ghosts and ghouls and “not-so-classic” monsters, including vegan werewolves, hipster vampires, Motown zombies, and all manner of civic-minded, taxpaying inhabitants. And they’re they’re not too fond of ordinary, living humans.

Fortunately (?), Finklestein learns how to hop from body to body and uses this to learn more about the town and hopefully escape before something awful happens to him. And maybe, in the process, he’ll even be able to get the band back together for one last show…because of course the Deadbeats are all recent inhabitants of Wailing Heights.

You can check out the Steam Greenlight page for Wailing Heights here to learn more about it and give it your vote if weird, off-beat adventure games are your speed. Also, look below for the game’s brand new trailer and some screenshots.
