Thanks to independent Italian developer Destructive Creations, players get their first look at the new survival horror game, Follia – Dear Father.
The story follows the tale of Marcus as he delves into madness in the pursuit of his missing parents. Follia takes place in the bloody and decrepit, but not-quite-abandoned, Frederick Fidelity University. Marcus must wade through the dark and corpse ridden halls using his trusted lighter or a flashlight.
Stealth will play a large part in Follia. Think more Amnesia than Resident Evil in terms of how players will have to deal with enemies. Exploration is key too, though, as finding clues will begin to unravel the mysteries of the university while backtracking to previously locked areas will also prove fruitful.
Follia – Dear Father looks to mix science with the supernatural with some truly horrific sites littering to grim corridors. If the ghouls and gore are not enough to scare players then those brave enough can strap in and play the entire game in VR on both the HTC Vive and PlayStation VR.
Though there is no release date for the title, the game will release on PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One.
