SadSquare Studio has revealed a new chapter for its psychological horror game Visage.
The new chapter is expected to add around four to six hours of gameplay, and will be released on July 3, 2019. The new chapter was originally scheduled for release in February, but was postponed as it did not live up to internal expectations.
SadSquare has stated that the new chapter will be the “final step” before the game’s full release. Excluding bug fixes and minor changes, the Early Access version of the game will not receive any additional content.
New information about the game’s development and Kickstarter rewards will be revealed next week.
Visage was announced in September 2015. After the release of some gameplay footage and brief information—such as the announcement that the title will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One—the game’s release date was pushed back to ‘someday’. Environmental designs for the game were completed in January last year.
