This year has been full of surprises from the gaming industry regarding their presence at E3. One of the big three, Nintendo just confirmed the other day that they would not hosting the usual press conference among the big three, 2K games just a few days ago and the latest is Valve. Sending out an email to Doug Lombardi at Valve asking about their E3 presence, he responded with the simple statement. “Valve is not exhibiting at E3 this year.”

It’s surprising, but also not that surprising that Valve won’t be attending. Have to wonder if Half Life 3 will be a next-gen release on the next iteration of the Source Engine.

  1. Nintendo will be attending E3 but will not have a huge presentation show like usual. They are going to have a smaller closed presentation for investors/businesses and still have booths showing new games. They said that their Nintendo Direct videos are their new focus when it comes to talking directly to consumers and to expect even more videos leading up to E3.

    1. You are correct, sir. Not sure why this can’t be properly reported by journalists.

      1. Different reports all over, I will fix it :)
