House House has announced Untitled Goose Game Part II, a sequel to its widely popular Untitled Goose Game.
In a new video post, House House announced that Untitled Goose Game Part II will follow the story of the groundskeeper from the opening level of the first game as he attempts to exact revenge on the titular Goose.
The farmer will retrace the steps of the Goose, causing havoc on villagers (and ultimately the Goose) to get his revenge—and, more importantly, to get his radio back.
Untitled Goose Game Part II will launch simultaneously for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later in 2020.
The original game was nominated in several categories at OnlySP’s Best of 2019 ceremony, including Best Developer, Best Art Design, Best Platform/Puzzle Game, and Best Game. OnlySP’s Rhain Radford-Burns discussed why the game deserved to win Best Game, writing that “every element of Untitled Goose Game adds to its joy.”
The game was named one of OnlySP’s favourite single-player moments of 2019. Richard Flint wrote that it “is 2019’s ultimate guilty pleasure for any chaotic gamer.”
