Ubisoft have recently been under fire for its supposed downgrading of graphics for their open world title, Watch_Dogs. To many it seemed like the initial E3 demo it was announced with and recent media looked different in terms of graphics quality.
However, in this new piece of media, Ubisoft have shown the game’s “vivid living city” of Chicago and the prowess of what the engine can do. According to the publisher, this game has “rich dynamic lighting, weather [effects] and physics that affect every element of the game world.”
The trailer further goes on to explain the unique identities of each citizen of the city, how you can hack everything in Chicago, online components and your consequential choices in the game.
Watch_Dogs releases on the PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 27th. The Wii U release will be coming later.
Awesome high quality trailer here, really reminded me of Rockstar’s GTA V/ Max Payne trailers with the V/O.
Downgraded graphics my butt. Looks fantastic. Can’t wait to see what the story turns out to be like.
