During the Ubisoft press conference, tons of new games and gameplay were shown off such as Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity, The Division, and the reveal of Rainbow 6: Siege. While many fans were impressed by the showing and happy to see Rainbow 6 still alive, many people were upset that Beyond Good and Evil and the rumored Prince of Persia were not shown.

Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, spoke with IGN about the absence of the titles:

We are not going to stop those properties. We are going to work on them. The teams are really looking at what we can come with. I think you will really like what you see in the future. It could take some time to make sure we are really delivering what we want.

IGN also spoke with Ubisoft Montreal CEO, Yannis Mallat, about the prospective future of the popular franchise Prince of Persia, “We have nothing to discuss at this time.” and then revealed that he recently had lunch with Prince of Persia creator Jordan  Mechner. “We’re friends,” Mallat said.
