It seems like Tomb Raider (the 2013 one) may be coming to the PS4 and, by extension, the Xbox One. Information based on a (now removed) Amazon listing for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on PS4. Square Enix sent out an official statement to Dualshockers, which is essentially a confirmation of the existence of the definitive edition through ommission –

“It’s so hard to keep a secret these days! We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don’t have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December”

The most likely “major gaming event happening in early December” I can think of is the Spike VGX awards, happening December 7.

A next-gen (should it be current-gen now?) version of Tomb Raider sounds great, giving those who missed the original a chance to catch up on Lara Croft’s rather brilliant reboot from the beginning, before getting their mitts on the incoming next-gen sequel.

We’ll keep you updated on all the news as it breaks. Naturally.
