Here’s an interesting style of trailer you’ve probably never seen before. In Square Enix’s latest piece of marketing for Tomb Raider, they attempt to show that there’s a survivor in all of us, shaped by our experiences and hardened by our journeys.
Titled “Reborn” and featuring the voices and likenesses of many real-life individuals, the trailer regularly transitions between gameplay footage and the firm, confident statements of those people. It all works to convey the sense that Lara Croft’s personal quest for survival and self-discovery will be one that gamers can closely relate to.
