Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer studio Little Green Men Games have announced the release of Titans Return’, an expansion for the RPG space sim Starpoint Gemini Warlords.

The largest expansion for Starpoint Gemini Warlords so far, ‘Titans Return’ features three new Titan ships and an all-new storyline with new conquest mechanics attached. Leading gamers to explore key events from the history of Gemini and deal with their fallout first hand, the expansion’s storyline allows players to discover the mystery behind the Titans and their reappearance. Once, the Titans ruled Gemini, and now they have returned to conquer again.

In addition, the expansion adds a new free-roam scenario, unique ultimate-aura passive abilities for each Titan ship, and a trophy system allowing players to show off acquired Titan vessels. Players can pilot these captured enemy ships in either campaign, or any of the free-roam scenarios.

An amalgamation of space sim, role-playing game, and 4X strategy, Starpoint Gemini Warlords was originally released on May 23, 2017. Garnering positive reception from both players and critics, the game drew comparisons to titles such as Mount & Blade, only with a sci-fi atmosphere. In a review released the first week of August, OnlySP’s Damien Lawardorn described the game as “by turns frustrating, involving, and thrilling, creating an almost addictive quality that ensures players will revisit this vast star system time and again.”

The ‘Titans Return’ expansion is available for PC now on Steam and GOG, with a sale price of $6.99.
