Through the Woods, the third-person, Norse-horror-inspired adventure set in a Norwegian wood, is being ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One following a successful release on PC in October 2016.
Developed by Oslo-based studio Antagonist, Through The Woods tells the story of a mother and her missing son, as players sneak past and explore a myriad of nightmares. In terms of gameplay, the title takes many stylistic and gameplay nods from third-person horror titles, with the use of the in-game flashlight being directly inspired by games such as Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
In a post on its official Twitter account, Antagonist stated that “circumstances made it difficult” to make an earlier announcement, but that the project will be coming to Xbox One on May 2, 2018, and to PlayStation 4 on May 8, 2018:

Previously, in a statement, Antagonist stated that it was unhappy with the launch of Through the Woods, and that the studio is also working on a new game, entitled The Fold: Ingression.
