Syndrome developer Camel 101 has announced that its newest project, the psychological thriller Those Who Remain, is now entering the “final 10 per cent” of development.

Announced in January of this year, the project pits players against darkness. In an update on the company website, the developer stated the following:

“There’s a saying about project management -and projects in general – that the last 10% takes 90% of the time.[…] Polishing, last minute changes, usability tests (and changes due to to tests), voice acting, QA, and much more. There are a lot of small tasks to do in the latest phase of development, that will bring the game to its full potential. That’s where we are right now. Those Who Remain has all the content in the game, and it can be played from beginning to end.”

Alongside this polish, the developer is working on incorporating voice acting into the game. The project has now found some decent voice actors after previously considering a text-only version of dialogue.

The first trailer for the game, embedded below, focused mostly on environments. According to Camel 101, the next trailer will focus more heavily on gameplay. Further information can be found on the game’s Steam page.
