Update: It looks like Gears of War was teased in the trailer as well as a NeoGAF user pointed out. A new Gears of War has already been confirmed, so that might be a key in validating the placement of a Halo Wars poster. Who knows! Checkout the image below.


Well, Microsoft seems to know how to tease gamers about future announcements. The Crackdown icon was spotted during the E3 2013 conference, and now there’s a nod to Halo Wars in an unlikely spot. The Phantom Dust trailer. I’ve posted the trailer at the correct time so you can see the tease for yourself.


Job ads were recently spotted for a new RTS game from a “well loved” AAA franchise according to the job posting. You can view that story right here. Might Microsoft be working on a sequel to Halo Wars? We’ll have to wait and see, but as I noted above, if the Crackdown tease is anything to go off of, I’d suspect so.
