Blood and Wine is the highly-anticipated upcoming downloadable expansion to Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we already know will include new features and changes as well as a complex story and charismatic antagonist. We can now add a brand new soundtrack to that list as well according to information gleaned this week.

Marcin Przybylowicz is the man behind the soundtrack to Witcher 3‘s vanilla game, being the main composer over at CD Projekt Red, and during an interview with Gamepressure he recently let slip some new information about the orchestral tones gracing our ears in Blood and Wine.

CD Projekt Red have recruited Piotrek Musial, who recently worked on This War of Mine with Deep Silver, to lend his talents to the expansion. With the DLC including a whole new area and brand new characters, the score will be written completely from scratch to accompany this shift in locale, therefore providing what will seem like a whole new game to explore.

The release date for Geralt’s next adventure remains unclear, but be confident that we will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
