Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Featured Image

Today we’re bringing you some additional Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt content with high-res images of the massive Collector’s Edition PC version. Below you will find a gallery of high quality images optimized for 1920×1080 max specifications. However, if you’d like to get a look at the full size 16-megapixel images, click through to the Witcher 3 Collector’s Edition Imgur gallery, click on the gear icon for each image and select ‘view full resolution’.

As you can see from the size comparison to the Max Payne 3 and Uncharted 3 collector’s boxes, Witcher 3’s box is massive. Lifting the top lid showcases the signature of the development crew on the top and side flaps. Underneath, separated by a simple tray above the styrofoam container holding the statue, sits a book-ended box with a large Witcher symbol. Sliding it apart in the center reveals another tray with the high-quality, hard-bound Witcher 3 Art Book.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Collector's Edition 014

Underneath the art book, in a soft foam tray is the game box itself and the Witcher medallion. Lifting up the game box reveals the separate, empty steelbook case, with gorgeous artwork on both sides. The game discs can obviously be transferred over to this case if preferred. I have not opened the standard game box yet, as I’m working off of my pre-release version, and waiting to hear if the saves will transfer to retail.

The container for the statue is sealed via tape down the middle of the styrofoam casing. Inside is the statue, with Geralt’s sword and the griffin’s tale in two separate packages. These were obviously built separately to prevent breaking during the shipping process. They attach easily, not completely seamless mind you, but you’re not going to notice if you choose to have the piece out on display. I suggest checking out the Imgur gallery to see the statue in better detail.
