A new teaser trailer for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine was recently published by developer CD PROJEKT RED, announcing game details including new features and a release date. And shortly after this announcement details on the expansions recommended start level were also revealed.

According to CD PROJEKT RED Community Lead and Website Coordinator, Marcin Momot the recommended starting level will be around levels 34-35, dependent on what gear Geralt currently possesses. This detail came when Momot replied to a fan question on Twitter soon after the teaser trailer went live.

The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone had a similarly recommended starting level with most players being able to begin questing at around level 30. This makes Blood and Wine most accessible for players that have already completed the main story of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
