The Sinking City

With E3 in full swing, Frogwares has revealed that its upcoming Lovecraftian investigation game, The Sinking City, will launch in March next year.

To be specific, the title will launch on March 21, 2019, more than three years on from its original announcement. To celebrate the announcement, the development team has released a brief new trailer focusing on the atmosphere, with the protagonist finding himself in a bloodstained bar room with a pair of unsettling characters for company.

The game takes place in the fictional city of Oakmont, Massachusetts, casting players as a detective freshly arrived in the city to investigate the mysterious goings-on following a flood and the emergence of nightmarish creatures. Although combat will be included, the title will focus on investigative elements.
