The Last of Us Part II

Neil Druckmann has revealed that the cinematics work for The Last of Us Part II has wrapped, with the last scene being “the most ambitious cinematic shoot we’ve ever done.”

In a reply, the studio, Naughty Dog, stated that all the cinematic shots for The Last Of Us Part II are now finished.

The performance capture wrapping up is “a nice little’ milestone” for the team, though the studio still needs to implement them into the final product.

This milestone point towards The Last of Us Part II getting ever closer to being finished, but still no release window has been revealed (though a recent rumour pegs the game for a 2019 launch).

Earlier this week performance capture for Laura Bailey and her character concluded, and the studio also filmed the final scene of the game’s story.
