Last year we introduced you to Heathen, a game based on the H.G. Wells novel, The Island of Dr. Moreau. At the time, the game was an open world action adventure title with a focus on cooperative gameplay. Fast-forward a year later and the game has gone through some major changes.

Frog Factory are now pitching Heathen as a single player episodic action adventure title. A new trailer has been released showcasing the changes made to the game.  The Greenlight page for the game promises a challenging game with an “eerie atmosphere” built on the latest version of Cryengine.

The first episode of Heathen is due out sometime in 2017 on the PC. You can read up more on Heathen by checking out the Steam Greenlight page.
