There’s still about two weeks until Darksiders II hits retail stores with a bang, but that hasn’t stopped a publication from already releasing a review of it, and a highly positive one at that.

German gaming magazine Consol Plus just had their latest issue, and within its labyrinthine pages can be found a Darksiders II review with a score of 93% attached. They praised the game’s combat system and boss battles, as well as the terrific visuals, loot system and great dungeon design. The puzzles also impressed them.

You can expect more reviews to trickle in soon, and if this one is any indication, they’ll be positive as well.

Darksiders II comes out on August 14th for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Make sure to look out for our upcoming in-depth preview of the game.
