The baby in Death Stranding will speak to the player through the PlayStation 4’s Dualshock 4 controller.
On Twitter, Hideo Kojima revealed that a feature in the game will allow the baby—BB, as it is called in the game—to communicate sounds through the controller.
Kojima tweeted a picture of the Death Stranding controller, which is part of a Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro bundle. Whether the feature will work with other Dualshock 4 controllers is unconfirmed, though expected.

Death Stranding will release on November 8, 2019.
Kojima noted that the game is a metaphor for Trump, America, and the EU. OnlySP’s Damien Lawardorn wrote about the game in a Tokyo Game Show 2019 Week in Review saying, “I believe in Kojima.”
