Telltale Games and Marvel are going to be making games together!

Telltale Games are partnering up with Marvel to create games based on the Marvel universe, with plans to release a series in 2017.

The new partnership was announced via an event in San Francisco and on Telltale’s blog, but no other details have been released yet about the project in development. This announcement comes at a time when Marvel could not be any bigger, with a ton of new movies and television shows coming out now and in the next couple of years, it makes perfect sense for Telltale to make a series based on the Marvel universe.

Recently, Telltale Games have teamed with a number of publishers to create games based on some of the most popular franchises going around, including Minecraft, Borderlands and Game of Thrones series. Although Telltale have so many partnerships and projects in the works, they have proven themselves capable of being able to balance themselves and release a number of great games at the same time.

Are you excited for this new project? Is there any particular character you would like Telltale to focus on? Let us know in the comments.
