TELLING LIES _ E3 Trailer 1-11 screenshot

During the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019, Sam Barlow and Annapurna Interactive revealed the first gameplay footage of Telling Lies.

Like Barlow’s previous game, Her StoryTelling Lies tasks the player with an investigation using video conversations. They must use keywords from the videos to piece together the narrative in a non-linear manner.

Barlow unveiled the first information about the political thriller in July 2017, and revealed the game’s cast in January 2019. The game is a spiritual successor to Her Story.

Telling Lies will star Logan Marshall-Green as David, Alexandra Shipp as Ava, Kerry Bishé as Emma, and Angela Sarafyan as Max. Vivien Lyra Blair will also feature in a voice role.

The game will be coming to iOS and PC.

Rhain discovered a long time ago that mixing one of his passions (video games) with the other (writing) might be a good idea, and now he’s been stuck in the industry for over six years with no means of escaping. His favourite games are those with deep and captivating narratives: while it would take far too long to list them all, some include L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption (and its sequel), Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Last of Us, and the Uncharted series.
