Tearaway is making its way to PlayStation 4. Earlier today at Gamescom, Media Molecule, the developers behind Tearaway for PlayStation Vita, announced Tearaway Unfolded for PlayStation 4.  Now, before you get upset and yell about another port, Media Molecule promises Unfolded will not be a straight port, but rather an “expanded retelling”.

So we started jamming and experimenting, and the result is Tearaway Unfolded – an expanded retelling of the original game.

Unfolded will also take advantage of the Dualshock 4’s features, including the light bar.

You can shine the controller’s light bar into the TV to light up dark and gloomy places, growing and transforming the scenery, and guiding atoi along her way.

On top of all this, the game will run at 1080p and 60 fps (hopefully).

…a bigger prettier world running at 1080p and targeting 60fps to boot.
