Bandia Namco has announced that Tales of Zestiria is being localized for the West

Bandai Namco have announced that Tales of Zestiria, will be coming to the Playstation 3 in Europe and North America sometime in the Fall of this year.

Tales of Zestiria, is a Japanese RPG developed by Bandai Namco Studios, and was originally released in Japan on the 22nd of January.

The story focuses on Sorey, a man who is blessed by a mystical spirit with powers, as he travels the land of Glenwood in order to destroy creatures which have spawned from negative emotions.

In the first week of its release in Japan, Tales of Zestiria sold over 400,000 copies and the game received high praise from critics for its battle system and the narrative. Recently, Bandai Namco have localized a number of games from their RPG Tales series to North America and Europe with great success, leaving no one surprised when they announced Zestiria would also be brought over to the west.

Tales of Zestiria follows the story of Sorey, who is gifted with powers in order to roam the land to defeat negative mosnters

The game will feature English and Japanese voice dubs, and English subtitles.

Here are some of the other features announced for Tales of Zestiria:

  • A Whole New World – Explore a medieval fantasy world with cues taken from classic literature and wide and expansive environments.
  • Instant Aggression – Seamless transitions from exploration to the trademark Tales of real-time battle system skirmishes.
  • Fusion Battle System – Strategically fuse two characters together in battle into a more powerful form to achieve victory against vicious enemies.
  • The Echoes of Lore – Follow the exploits of Sorey on his mission as the Shepherd told through real-time and animated cut-scenes with the original Japanese voice overs or newly added English voices.
