Two days ago, we informed you that System Shock 2 will be making its way to GOG.com and eventually Steam. Turns out that info was right on the money, because today, Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios’ masterpiece is available for download on Good Old Games.

The game is a miniscule 363 MB, supports Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, and is priced at $9.99. Some may say that’s too much for such an old game (August 1999), but others would probably give up their first child before letting go of this beloved action/RPG/horror classic.

The online cooperative mode returns, and this edition is bundled with digital goodies such as a soundtrack, wallpapers, artwork, original pitch documents, and more. If you’re a diehard fan, it might be worth picking up this version for those extras alone.

If you were looking for atmospheric sci-fi horror shooters with Dead Space 3 and Aliens: Colonial Marines but were disappointed, this comes as a great remedy. You can buy System Shock 2 here. May the nostalgia be with you.
