The Batman: Arkham developer Rocksteady Games may indeed be preparing to reveal a Superman game at this year’s E3.

According to a rumour on 4chan’s video game board /v/, the project is set to be announced during Microsoft’s press conference. The rumour comes complete with a  screenshot, depicting the game’s title, Superman: World’s Finest, as well as Rocksteady’s name in the bottom right corner.

The term ‘World’s Finest’ refers to a comic book series that centered around Batman and Superman. With Rocksteady’s history with the Arkham series, perhaps World’s Finest is an attempt to bridge the gap between Gotham and Metropolis. Meanwhile, further details included in the post tally with those emerging earlier this year, which posited that Brainiac will be the villain and other DC superheroes will make appearance.

Fans of the DC universe should be careful to take this news with a grain of salt, as 4chan is renowned for a lack of credibility.
