FutureGrind, a stunt-platformer that channels Trials through a cyberpunk lens, has a fresh trailer and release date.

The trailer, embedded below, shows off the game’s unique 2D colour-coded stunt gameplay. Players are tasked with manoeuvring jumps while ensuring the wheel matches each railing’s colour.

While the gameplay may seem simple on the surface, it really comes into its own when weaved in with the possibility of tricks and stunts.

Some narrative details were also revealed, although this will certainly take a backseat to the game’s central draw: its gameplay. In keeping with the cyberpunk atmosphere, the story will involve questions about the extent to which corporations can be trusted.

FutureGrind is set to release on January 22 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Switch. For more on the world of single-player, be sure to follow OnlySP on FacebookTwitter, and YouTube.
