Starpoint Gemini 3

Little Green Men Games has revealed the first gameplay of Starpoint Gemini 3, and it may just bring the series to the attention of a new audience.

A highlight of the new footage is the closer camera than the series has featured in the past—as well as a cockpit camera. These changes, though small, seem to speed up the action, with the added bonus of appearing to make targeting easier.

Beyond a brief glimpse at some environments and combat, though, the teaser shows little.

However, Starpoint Gemini 3 is bringing some noteworthy changes to the series, including player-controlled drones, a bigger universe, and fully 3D rendered characters.

At present, Starpoint Gemini 3 has no specific release date, though it is scheduled to arrive on Steam at some point later this year. For anyone unfamiliar, the game is a sprawling space RPG that allows players to craft their own career through a personal story.
