In 2003, developer Bioware released the influential Star Wars RPG, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’ to Xbox and PC, winning several awards from websites and publishers for its gripping storyline and life-like character interaction. However, ever since the sequel was released in 2004, there has been no sign of rebooting or continuing the series other than Star Wars: The Old Republic, a PC MMORGP spin-off.

On the 22nd of May, a newsletter from Aspyr Media, promoting a 50% off Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC deal was leaked. However, the newsletter also, possibly by accident, was accompanied by a header that read “The critically-acclaimed Star Wars RPG is now available on iPad…” .

It is likely to assume this RPG will be Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, as Aspyr was responsible for the Mac port of the game. No release date or price has been revealed, however. We can expect insight into this leak in the near future.
