During the closing of their E3 2015 press conference, Square Enix revealed that they had formed a new studio, the Tokyo RPG Factory. Their goal with this new team is to produce a brand new title, not a “spin-off or sequel”.

They then went on to show off a few screens of concept art for this new IP, which they are calling project SETSUNA.  They’ve also concurrently launched their website Tokyo RPG Factory. The site is sparse as of now, but is home to the screenshots showcased during their conference.

We’ll keep you updated on Project SETSUNA and anything else coming from Tokyo RPG Factory as the continue their work for Square Enix.
