Square Enix

Square Enix will be joining in on the E3 hype this year with a press conference, this time following Nintendo’s approach of a pre-recorded livestream as opposed to a live show.

The Japan-based publisher has been absent for the past years of E3 live events, but this Nintendo Direct-like event, which is scheduled for Monday, June 11 at 10 a.m. P.T., will break the recent trend. Square Enix did not give too many details about what the stream will hold, but with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts III, and a new Life is Strange title on the way, the possibilities are almost endless.

Viewers can tune in on a number of different platforms and the videocast will have both English and Japanese versions to choose from.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
