The creative director of Square Enix’s The Avengers Project has shared a brief update of the game on Twitter.
Shaun Escayg, the game’s creative director and writer who recently directed Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at Naughty Dog, described the project as “very ambitious” and promised to “share more when the time is right.”
Thanks everyone for all of your interest in The Avengers Project. We’re hard at work on this very ambitious game, and are excited to share more when the time is right.#reassemble @CrystalDynamics

Very little information has been released about the project since its announcement in January 2017. Besides the brief teaser bearing allusions to The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America, no information about the game is known. Square Enix promised more information would come in 2018, and a financial report even suggested that the game may have been scheduled for this year, but the update from Escayg heavily suggests that the developer will not be releasing any further details for quite some time.
